There is nothing more irresistible to a cat than a neatly organized pile of small parts, say, from a downtube shifter.

Never a dull moment with the kittehs

Leave some ball bearings out on a countertop sometime, and see how long it takes for them to get into them

Anything that has to do with bikes, really. Here they are helping me unpack a shipment from Thunder Bay:

Had not known the lads to have taken up an interest in camping.

Very fine looking tent they appear to have selected.

Always best to "test drive" indoors at home prior to setting out for the great wild unknown...

@non-fixie, that picture is hilarious. I miss having cats and dogs. But I get my fix when I visit my kids. They have two cats and a dog.

Annie is pretty good but she can be a handful. Proto-diabetic, was on insulin for awhile but now just a careful diet which annoys her to no end and she makes sure I know it. Best of all, she loves to go into the bathroom during the mornings and evenings and sing arias - it can drive you mad.

Her compatriot, my eldest kitty LG, died in late November - complications of nasal lymphoma, she stopped eating. Incredibly difficult to witness, more so when I had her euthanized, I never left her side though the ordeal. For all her weirdness, Annie has been especially loving since then. She knows.

Getting that tent as a gift with a bag of cat food was the best thing that ever happened. It lasted for more than ten years and served several generations of cats. It only recently collapsed. I suspect the dog had something to do with that ...

Mine ducks under my bedcovers when T'storms roll through. Or the doorbell rings. Or when I have guests. Seriously, under the covers like any kid hiding from monsters.
