A few of us are doing a century today, from Birchrunville to Lancaster and back.
Cycling in Lancaster county is a mixed blessing. The cars are VERY patient and pass very safely, because they are so used to Amish buggies and other slow moving traffic. The roads frequently have lots of horse poop on them from engines of said Amish buggies. I think it’s a fair trade-off. Except possibly in wet conditions when you get road spray.

I may have mentioned this before but I got a serious bronchial infection after racing a road race in a drizzling rain and a farmer was hauling manure with a spreader. I was sick for a long time.

Had it in my head for guess three, but took a second to check if it could be some others.

She also loves watching reruns of "Medium" in syndication. Lots of brutality toward women and semi-graphic depictions of murders and torture. I don't get it and find it very disturbing.
OTOH I find movies like "Die Hard with a Vengeance" or "The Equalizer" to be entertaining.

Now what I don't understand is why no one has done a similar show based on The Romance of the Three Kingdoms. It is a similar sort of story, but finished. And out of copyright. And did I mention, finished?
I get that - it's why (even aside from being done with the couch-jumper) I'd have no interest in Top Gun now. "Yay fighter jets!" isn't fun anymore.

Like not watching "Contagion" during the Pandemic. Or "Idiocracy" since about 2015.
