Very clean Series 3, Blue with red "freckles". No crappy pics here. Shimano RX100, Araya rims, MKS pedals, Avocet Cross saddle, Sakae bars and Biachi Stem. Size is 22" center-center / 23" center-top with a 22 1/2" topbar. (Sorry, I don't have a metric tape). Email your name/number/best time to call and I will contact you. Don't miss this very nice classic.

Because you need metric tape to convert from inches to centimeters...
Hey, I teach Physics and HONORS Biology, (albeit in GA), and 80% of my BIO kids couldn't do a SINGLE METRIC Conversion on my last test. No wonder NASA crashes SO OFTEN!

There's a handy little bit of software out there called, unsurprisingly, convert.exe . It will do pretty much anything to anything. Google it up or PM and I'll send.

I don't often do conversions, the jobs, projects, gadgets that are metric, stay metric and the things I do in inches usually stay inches. Bikes are one of those things that inevitably use both and intermingle them in weird ways.

Google can convert units. For example, you can enter "convert 22 inches to centimeters".

Bikedued, that is wacky, but not as wacky as most. It is indeed in excellent condition. I allow some people a little leeway with an old ordinary bike if it is in near-pristine condition.

Well, pretty darn wacky when you consider they go for about $125 on the high end here. Location is more important than condition I guess. It is in good condition.

Here's the latest Wacky bmx ad. It's a vintage 70's bike made in 1986..

My email to them, followed by the ad address....

Hard to keep a bike since the 70's, when it was made in 1986??

https://houston.craigslist.org/bik/1373953426.html

Their response, in typical hurt feelings because I know squat about bikes attitude.. Self censored..

It's hard to talk with a ***** in your ***** too.

My obvious response....

I guess you'd know, lol.

Anyone care for a $200 dollary Huffy mixte, listed as "racing bike", to ride in the El Tour de Tucson? Didn't think so.

Not a Mixte but a lady's bike. And how generous of the seller to offer it for $200 (which is about 10 times the value) when it needs new tubes and tires, too.

Seez it like it is

WANTED: front fender that at least sort of works - $10 (Somerville/Cambridge/Medford)
Date: 2009-09-12, 6:02PM EDT
Reply to: sale-8zqm8-1371472760@craigslist.org [Errors when replying to ads?]

After getting splashed with way too much wet-road-related nastiness in the last couple of days, I would love a front fender for my commuter 80s road bike. it needs to be fairly narrow (road bike clearance!) and really cheap. Because I am poor and have bad grammar.

please help a kid out! I'm not looking for perfection, just function.

Yeah, you're gonna pay a premium price, but the tires are "still somewhat hairy"!

I think that is a tension adjuster for single speed. Not bad by itself. I'm with you though on $125
for a so-so bike that needs work. I have trouble getting that much for a ready to ride bike - at least
one that looked like that.
