Cyclocross and Gravelbiking (Recreational) This has to be the most physically intense sport ever invented. It's high speed bicycle racing on a short off road course or riding the off pavement rides on gravel like : "Unbound Gravel". We also have a dedicated Racing forum for the Cyclocross Hard Core Racers.

I'm loving the race face crank arms and helium wheels.

@Cal, I think it's 39x17. I had it set up as fixed for Dino's dirt track racing. That was fun. You coming out for that?

@ Thrid, Thanks. I love the heliums, this is my 3rd season on them. They are pretty tough, never had to true.

I'm signed up but whether I can do it depends on kids soccer. 39x17 sounds like a good place to start.

We should go out for a training ride. I've spent little to no time on the SSCX over the last months. Let me know.

That Felt is sweet. I really like the look of the wheels. I'd be interested to hear a racing report on how disc brakes do relative to cantis.
Thanks. I won't be able to tell you about the benefits in a race for another few weeks (psyched!), but I can tell you they're a lot nicer on single track.

Me like!!!
Thanks, brutha!

The frame is an On One Dirty Disco. Nice deal going on at Planet X right now - $550 for the frame.

Thanks, I'm considering a CF roadie, or a CX.
I like this one since it has disc tabs.
Nice bike!

There are a lot of pretty bikes on this thread. My battle-scarred warrior will provide a nice contrast.

My first attempt at Cross, sort of...
Brazil doesn't have a cross tradition, no races or anything so I just rode with some Mountain Biking friends on local trails.

So much fun, made my Mountain Bike feel kinda pointless. I want a Nature Boy real bad now.

Got it 2 days ago from local Bikes Direct store... cheap.
Will take it to the woods to see how soon I will need to buy the new frame. (just kidding..not going to break it).
