You want vintage, you got vintage: Pedersen bicycles made by Pedersen manufaktur a german company. There was a danish company that made these but apparently this german company "stole" their production. Don't know what the hell happened. There was one on sale on Craigslist a few months back. I should have just answered the ad just to take a test ride on it.

I recently ran across Republic Bike. They only have two models on two completely different sides of the spectrum... a hipster fixie and a very attractive single-speed dutch bike. Both have been aggressively priced at $399. They will customize the bike in your own colors and have it shipped within 2 business days. Talk about bringing classic bikes to the masses!
