Race Fit Jerseys?

Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

if you have a 38 chest, you should have ordered a small.

They weren't a size smaller, they were designed to be aero, so they fit very snug in all the loose places, e.g. armpits and sleeves (like the Under Armour you mentioned. You will also notice the materials (they use different materials for different areas) they used are very different from your normal jerseys.

I have a Mellow Johnny's bike shop jersey. It is made by Giordana. It was a Euro fit XL. It fits really snug.
Then I have my company's bike jersey made by Atac (https://www.bikeatac.com/ordering/sizing.htm) with Pro fit XXL. Again, it fits quite snug.

So from my personal exp, Pro-fit runs smaller than Euro-fit.

My chest is 42.

Also, unless you're actually on the team, pro team kit = . In my opinion of course.
Yeah that kinda helps, usually around June I drop to 150ish at 6 feet. Remeasured my chest looks like I'm a 35.5, using tape and a ruler isn't very accurate haha. I know wearing the pro team kit is frowned upon but they're my favorite team . It's not like a 40 year old guy is going to say something to me while riding.

Ah if it fits anything like my Under Armour cold weather hood it'll be sweet.

That's what I was hoping, that Pro fit is smaller than Euro-fit. My jersey isn't that tight still kind of loose around the chest/tummy area.

Not if you're over 6' tall. They hit you at about your belly button.

I've got one of these. I wear a 42 and a large is slightly big for me. If you wear a 38, it will be baggy.

Crap I thought it was fitted, even more than any Euro Jerseys >.>. You sure it's the Race day and not Euro Fit?

My theory: club fit jerseys account for belly size (and some height variables too), while race fit jerseys account for height (none of them racers have bellies).
