Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Small Size Jerseys

Hey guys! I had a small crash last week and my favorite Castelli jersey ripped. Now I only have one jersey left which I bought from a local shop that was having a closeout.

I am 5'1-5'2, weigh 118lbs, and have a 31-32 inch chest, so I need a small race fit jersey or an extra small jersey.I have been looking online, but I have not been able to find that many small jerseys. I bought my old castelli jersey from a user on here(thank you!!) for wayyyy lower than normal price and I cannot afford to get the same jersey again.

Most online stores either don't stock small jerseys, are sold out of small jerseys, or only have small jerseys in models that I cannot afford. Does anyone know of any cheap small sized jerseys I can get?

I bought some "small" sized club fit jerseys last year for really cheap, but they were wayyy too big for me, so I think a race fit jersey or XS would be better.

Go to ebay and look for Pactimo. Voler is selling a "Grab Bag" of 2 men's jerseys in SML for 39.00. I bought some for my son and they were really nice.

Thanks! That Voler deal looks pretty good, they don't have small available in race fit, but they do have it available in club fit, not sure if they will fit me. I don't want to spend $40 for two jerseys that don't fit me and I can't return.

I like Voler race cut in XS for a tight aero fit, and I am bigger at 5' 6" 130 pounds. Depends on how loose you like your jerseys, but small might be a little loose? Small in Voler and Pactimo fit me like what regular people like for their jerseys, but I like them tighter.

Edited to add: iirc, xs voler race fit measures 17-18 inches across armpit to armpit and 21 inches from bottom of front collar to bottom front hem. check against your current jersey?

The jersey I am using right now(XS Race Fit) has pretty much the same measurements and it feels a little bit too tight to me. I agree that the small club fit jersey will be too loose.
I will probably end up buying this jersey: https://shop.pactimo.com/spring-2012-...ycling-jersey/
I have a 50% off coupon so the price will come down. Thanks for the help guys!

Does anyone know where I put in the coupon code on the Pactimo website?

I don't mean to hijack your thread fishymamba, but I have quite an issue with jersey fit also.

I'm 5'5" and have a 28" waist, but a 37" chest. Anything that fits my waist is really tight in the chest, shoulders, and arms. If it fits my chest, it's loose in the waist or too long.

Any suggestions for that?

To answer your question...

After you proceed to checkout, there will be a box you can enter the coupon code in. This will be after you make your account/sign in.
I just placed an order myself, so we'll see how it is.

My race jersey is a small, and Im 6ft 3, 165lbs. Its tight as can be but thats what is necessary. if you dont want to be suffocated I would go small, but XS would be more of a "EURO" fit for you.

I don't know how picky you are about your clothes, but I have the same problem. Mind you, I am female. I'm 5'3 and 100 lbs. I cannot get jerseys to fit me. The only ones I have been able to get that are small enough are XS chinese ones. You might try giving the chinese ones a go. They are a lot smaller. Mine seem to be decent quality and have held up just fine. I ordered them from outbackbikers.com--they have men's stuff too. Just a thought.
