I don't know about the OP, but yeah, that's me. I am a snob, my taste is better than most others. Well, some others anyway.

Sorry, but you come across as a snob who thinks his taste is better than others.

Man. Lots of insecurity in your "translation" of what he actually wrote.

OP never mentioned other riders and their choices. His irritation lies with the manufacturers. You imagined the rest of it.

LOL...I'm not the one trying to find like minded thinkers to feel more secure about my preferences am I?

Some people are better at reading between the lines, at hearing what the message is, not what the words are.

Guess you're not one of them.

Love the honesty.

Most people are snobs when it comes to their "preferences". No shortage of snobs in the wonderful world of cycling that's for sure, where the ability to purchase expensive gear is confused with ability and talent too many times.

I'm a snob too. Hate mountain bikes. Never bought one. Refuse. Too ugly.

So you can read his words, ignore them, and read his mind?

Some people take a literal statement, then fabricate the "Message" that suits their agenda. Well done.

I hope you save them. Some buyers prefer them on the car. Especially if it was a hot mill and a classic car.

And everyone knows it's a 1980 Citation...

Sometimes I like a logo or a design. Back in the mid 1980s I bought my first brand new decent bicycle. It was a MIELE BETA. Later I bought the MIELE EQUIPE PRO with full Dura Ace groupset ( the first year it had the aero brake levers) and loved the bike. I also bought a pair of MIELE shorts and a MIELE jersey that I still have and wear once in a while. Thanks to another member on these forums I also now have a pair of MIELE logo shoes. ALl I need now are MIELE logo gloves and bicycling cap although i don't know if MIELE ever had those.

Jersey, shorts and shoes.

When I'm paid to advertise, I'll stop removing every logo that I can.

I am better than anyone who keeps their helmet on when off the bike for an extended period of time.
