I never have any issue with the magnet moving, but your setup looks like the magnet is more straight on the the force might be nudging it backward where as mine pushes down into the zipties. Either way, cool upgrade right?

I used to have a set of minoura mag rollers. Once I got my inside ride rollers the Minouras began duty as warm up rollers. I could comfortably hit whatever wattage I needed (outside of standing). When my minouras died I bought a set of Kurt rollers. Sadly they're so smooth to crack 300 I'd be in the biggest gear spinning a million rpms. I added to tool magnets under Fudgy's direction and it much improved. Though the magnets have a tendency to slide and things get a bit easier as I go on
On my 2.5" kreitlers, no resistance is needed. (in case anyone is confused)

2x15 sweet spot. Gotta work up to 2x20 soon. The plan is to "target" one of the early season TT's, so the more sweetspot/threshold the better

Picked up a set of magnetic resistance rollers today for the low low price of free Front roller is cracked on the right side and has a slight wobble if I don't keep all the way to the left, so I'll be getting that replaced.
Practiced for 10 minutes or so, fun already! Can get over 300 watts even on the zero setting. Was able to ride one hand, and out of the saddle, but when I tried no hands the wobble in the front roller was too much haha

Totally enjoying this rest week after a big base block. The good news is that I'm also itching to start riding hard next week ^_^
Lining up what may be my first races: Swamp Classic in Feb.

Clear skies but messy roads this morning. Did a ride that included 8x2s. I think I did these too hard, I dunno, I should read a book or something.

Very pleasant 3 hour tempo ride. 35F and sunny feels great after a couple of days with wind chills below zero. I took my gloves and hat off after the first hour.
3 of us started the ride but at a stop sign we discovered there were only 2 of us. We backtracked a few miles but no sign of #3 . No idea what happened to him. His car was gone when we got back to the bike shop.

I accidentally came within 5w of my pb 2min power today doing a bit of leg flushing while dressed up like the michelin man, then stopped for a minute to pet a basset hound that trotted up to me mid way up a climb while doing some exploring, then ate a lot of nutella and spun home.

RE: So cal storms
Geez, I really picked a good week to take it easy. The rain here is crazy! Yesterday we had some flooding at work, like people moving their card out of the cul-de-sac in rising waters, and all-hands on deck pumping, moping and vacuuming in one of the suites we occupy.
This morning I managed to sneak 1hr on the FG (42/18t) between storms, at a shamefully easy pace. I'll ride tomorrow afternoon if the gods permit it.

Got out for a spin after work, on my new/old rain bike.
This morning it was raining too hard (for me) to ride, and this afternoon it wasn't raining at all but I wanted a sprinkle at least. Go figure.
