I don't understand why people are saying don't get suspension. I think the wheels will last longer with suspension. It is important to get a strong bike. I am heavy, but not as heavy as the OP. I like this bike, which I rescued from the trash. I wound the rear suspension up a long way. I raised the handlebars, so I put much less weight on the front suspension. The frame on this bike is strong. I believe the only thing which would break if the OP rode a bike similar to this, would be the spokes in the back wheel. These could be replaced by thicker spokes. Or the wheels could be replaced with stronger wheels.

unless you are really mountain biking suspension should be avoided because

good suspension is expensive so your are spending more money than you need to to get a bike
on cheap bikes the suspension is generally low quality, does not work well and dies. also if you get cheap bike with suspension, other parts are lower quality to "pay" for a bad suspension
suspension adds weight and takes more maintenance
suspension is less efficient when riding on roads

Form follows function. Suspension is a function of hard mountain biking, but just because it is good for that, does not mean it is good for road and good trail riding
