It has cable guides on top of the top tube that I didn't want to grind off when I repainted the frame since I wasn't sure if I was going to ride it fixed or SS. I feel they look a little weird being on the top side of the tube without having cable running thru them, I also worry about them snagging my clothing however unlikely. Plus I just like having a top tube pad, I lock up often being car free and don't feel that having knackered up paint is a sign of how much of a dedicated rider you are.

Great photos, but looking at them is a little bittersweet.
Earlier this year I ordered a red Fuji Feather just like yours from a shop. It was out of stock, but they kept telling me for weeks that it would show up "any day now." After three weeks of this bull****, I actually had to tell them I would go to the cops if they couldn't explain where the bike (that I had already paid for) was. The shop is a day's drive away, so when they didn't answer their phone or reply to emails for two whole business days I was very concerned. Turns out it was out stock at the European distributor and they never bothered checking when they took my order. I did finally get my money back, but the whole experience was nightmarish nonetheless.
In the end, I'm glad got a Wabi instead. I can't say enough good things about Richard's customer service.
Still, that red Fuji is pretty.

In the Bizarro SSFG forum all the pics are NDS.
