Now when someone says their "back fork" or that their bike has "forks", I know what they're referring to.

Yeah I think I could focus on that for a long time! I love the beach shot as well, so much better than the boring old pavement.

The bike automatically sucks, the wheels aren't even aligned properly. It might have well just said Huffy Magna and Shimano Equipped in massive letters with some reject Tourney derailleurs on it.

Well, does one in slightly OS Aluminium, too.

And a Laser lookalike

The rest of his frames are geared (and gorgeous). He does steel, aluminium, and crabon fibre.

It is a Rule #26 violation, but since he's been building since the '60s (he created the Ciocc brand), I'll give him a pass.

A pass, he has been building since the 60s no passes. If he was brand new to bikes and cranking stuff that looks that nice I might forgive a little but violating the rules is against the rules.

Challenge is better because they make similar tires (open tubulars) but they have more width options and also options for when you don't want the road but maybe aren't going Moun-tain biking (they do make some racing tubs for that though). Who would want to run a 23c tire anymore though? Even pros are going 28c!

Pound Sign: Gumwalls are great but skinny little jobbers like that just aren't as fun. New Pound Sign: Plumper Gumwalls

I was pertaining only to road bikes really. Not just considering comfort, but overall performance as well - specifically cornering. Best road bike clinchers IMO.
I'm running mine on 24mm wide rims and have found that 90F/95R psi is my sweetspot for the perfect combo of comfort/performance. Feels like I'm floating on 28s.

He pre-dates the rules, though. I think he's allowed a momentary lapse in judgement.

(also, I ride 23s)

Still I would want a 28c for road riding. Unless I am in Abu Dhabi with perfect roads (at least I believe they have those) a little extra cush ain't bad. Though if you are able to run them on wide rims like that thinner tires can be ok.

Is wide tires vs skinnies the new brakes/brakeless noise?
Maybe we can get back to posting pics of pr0nworthy bikes in this thread?

May not be everybody's cup-of-tea but I sure likey...
