I'm not. Thursday is the Twins, Friday the Craftsman Trucks, Saturday is Infinity, and Sunday is the 500.
The thing today is enjoyable for the commercials. We'll see if it's up to the hype.
Oh, we can't forget about Yoko Swift. It appears her jet has landed in Vegas.

Yesterday I saw a woman buying a bunch of ribs at a butcher shop. In fact, all the butchers in the Reading Terminal were crazy busy. Must have been the Super Bowl effect. Got to make those wings and things.

0.5 hr into my (potential) 4 hour hamster wheel session. Good sensations in the legs after hardish yesterday, good conversation in this group, good tunes on public station KSDS Jazx 88. I reserve the right to venture outside later if this turns into a drag, but right now the vibes are flowin'
Gonna spin out another 10-15 min, get off for bio break and more coffee, then hop on and finish the 4 hr somehow

Had the trainer set up ready to go and this morning it wouldn’t connect to my ipad so ended up riding in the rain.
Now that my training is back on track my restless legs are back at night. Was up all night, only thing that would make it stop is if I slept on the floor.

If I had a trainer, it might be a good place to watch the game from. I really could use more exercise than I’m getting. It would be so convenient to just hop on for a half hour or so. Wil look into a dumb trainer, or rollers perhaps. I have plans for building a set of rollers, now that Itjink about it. I went as far as buying the skateboard bearings and then never followed through

Doing long steady trainer sessions are helped along by adding features. Something like two minutes low cadence standing every eight minutes or a ten second Z6 burst every two minutes etc.

Even though I stood and pedaled often, my butt took 3 days to recover.
My butt's time limit for the trainer appears to be 2 hours.

Should be a standard hydraulic set up on the front.
Open the bleeder and let it gravity bleed for a few seconds then use a normal sized flat blade screwdriver to either slide the full floating caliper or compress the piston. Whichever works. Course, this is with the bleeder open, so attaching a hose to route the fluid coming out into a container is advised. Close the bleeder, install the pads and rotor on that side, take the cap off the master, open the bleeder, let gravity bleed. Once a solid stream of fluid is observed, close the bleeder, cap the master, and go to the other side.
So many different ways to slap pads, but I never backed the fluid into the system, hence the open bleeder.

Of course the dealer employees who answer the phone can't tell you anything. First, they don't know, and if they did tell you and you messed something up and blamed them... well, they don't want that. I was thinking you could maybe ask one of the techs. You'd have to go there and probably walk into the shop. People used to do it at my job and I didn't mind answering a quick question or 2. Within reason, of course.

Ok im a bit wiped im not gonna lie. mostly it's bc I have like no endurance right now.... last hour was tough. Good training! Too bad none of those miles counted since they were fake lol.
Hopefully I can get a long one in one President's day. Gonna try to rationalize it to Liz - like ordinarily I'd be at work so it should be OK if I get to ride 5-6 hours solo outside? Wish me luck lol.

My ride is (maybe) off this afternoon. I don't know if I'm not really fully recovered from the digestive tract flush, or whether it is something else, but I am just way tired. Can't imagine getting on a bike, though I may attempt it anyway. What's the worst that could happen?

I get you on the bleeder thing, makes sense. I'm worried it will screw things up and I'll get a warning light. It's got auto braking or whatever they call it, auto hold, and maybe even electronic e brake (I have to look at that more it's in the manual) I've seen a couple people say they got service warnings from doing it on other cars with the same junk on it.

I did a fake Mt. Lemmon climb the other day. Just under 3 hours of steady, zone 2 grinding.
Even though I stood and pedaled often, my butt took 3 days to recover.
My butt's time limit for the trainer appears to be 2 hours.

I was a new car dealer tech for 30 years. People would sometimes find a way to ask us questions, either at the edge of the shop, lunch area, in parts dept., etc.

The Auto Hold is run through the Electronic Parking Brake, so that's all isolated from the front system. Messing with all that will require a scan tool, but the fronts seem immune from that. I have always been a fan of gravity bleeding, as it takes both needing a second person, and pushing the pushrod in the master past happy out of the question. As long as the master reservoir is topped off, and stays that way, you shouldn't have any issue. As always, being comfortable with it, is key.

I just thought it might be a way for you to ask someone who actually does it, maybe even daily. I know it's a long shot if you don't know anyone there.
