Wondering if I should pick up this lot.
I just need the wheelset, but he's asking $50 for that. $40 more to get a bunch more stuff and a spare frame?

It's worth a look but if the wheelset isn't what you want then it's not worth getting any of it. I've tried several times to save money like this and ended up not being too happy cause something is usually wrong with the items. Just inspect carefully and don't settle is what I'm saying I guess.

I worked at a shop that sold a lot of Miele's in KC, and whether they used Columbus tubing on down to Tange 1 tubing they all road spectacularly and painted very cool. The owner still rides one.

I also forgot how great a full Suntour Supurbe Groupo looks on a bicycle.

They probably pulled it because you used the word 'not' rather than pulling it for 'ultegra'.

I know the x not y crap always gives me the willies when I see it in ads.

Maybe pre Ultegra 600 would fly.

Anyone ever hear of a builder named Edwin Pow from Minneapolis? My search came up dry. Looks like a cool bike.

https://chicago.craigslist.org/nwc/bik/4030405488.html

I have an extremely rare Road Bike for sale.

This bike has a beautiful complete Campagnolo Record set of components (Hubs, Cranks, Shifters, Brakes)- all original.

The frame measures 56cm -is Reynolds Butted Tubing

This bike was built by Edwin Pow Cycles in 1974 - would have been an extremely nice bike in its time - still is.

I don't ride on the road anymore - need the room and must sell.

Nice looking bike, but, $3,800 is a lot of money:

https://spokane.craigslist.org/bik/4032566488.html

[h=2]Davidson "Signature" Custom Road Bike[/h]

Lightly ridden, very good condition. no large dents, scratches or cosmetic damage.
built in 1990

Top tube to center of crank is 22 1/2"
Dura-ace components
Shimano top of the line
Time pedals
Brand new custom built wheels and tires
Criterium bars
Torino head set

Had the bike appraised at Elliot Bay Bicycles
New, this is worth $3,800

What's up with the mismatched shifting? One lever is mounted on the downtube and the other on the bar end...?
Also, the seller never states his price (which is why I flagged it). It may be worth $3,800 new but that figure is trivial since we are talking about a 23 year old bicycle.

$661.66, including shipping, for a vintage Olympia outfitted mainly with Campy Gran Sport - pantographed at that:

https://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-Cust...ht_1430wt_1037

Lots of worse ways to spend one's money; I wish this was at least one size bigger

Why would you flag a posting on CL for the fact that no price was stated? That's not what this feature is intended for.

If it were in my area, I'd probably go for it. "Must sell" + small niche maker = he will end up taking an offer.

Pretty interesting...the pic in this ad is mine of my Jubilee Sport that I took in my backyard a couple of years back...guess he lifted it from here or Flickr...(my bike was at least a 62/63 cm if I remember correctly, no way was it a 58 or I wouldn't have bought it. I bought and sold the bike in the picture twice, and I still miss it...I'm an idiot...

^^Hmmm? Do you think this is a case of a seller being too lazy to take a pic of his bike? Or is it your bike and he mis-listed it as a 58?
