I haven't been out there since I was in high school. I went to HS in Wilmette so I was up in that neck of the woods often. I'd like to ride up for opening night. Then hit the Dairy Queen on Lake St. in Wilmette.
Once when I was like 18 I was pulled over by a Wilmette cop on Lake St at 3am because I was riding my bike. No bikes on Lake St!

[QUOTE=raygunner]Not the best photo but here's my new frame.
Nice, is that the frame that kaiben_v(or something like that..) had on ebay a while back?

Some pics of (the evolution of) my fixie, circa last week. I've swapped the cranks and chain since then, and have commited and done away with the front brake all together. The bars get swapped around between some drops and these bullhorns (I know, I need to take that mess of a brake off)
Anyway, i liked the way these came out.
1) Mug Shot 2) God Made Me Special: Someone gave me this wristband while out one night; I thought the irony was enough to put it to use somewhere. 3) My brooks Team Pro 4) uhg. Unused brake cabling is soooo ghetto. 5) Obligatory chainline picture... is mine good? I have no idea what I should be looking at. It doesn't fall off or anything.

Yeah, I thought the chainring side was a little.. close. Never had any problems though. I'll post pics of the new cranks when I get them.
thanks for the critique.
edited to prevent a million replies
Leviathan: They're Toro Tsunami bullhorns that I picked up at Chucksbikes.com about a year ago. I love them, but they're a tad bit wider than I wanted. I'm thinking about getting rid of them though. Looking for some track drops. (I know, that's tacky on a conversion, but whatever. <g>)

1990 Pinarello Treviso track bike. An eBay aquisition (just the frame). Came with the original track fork, but it is a little to tight for the conti 700x25s. Anyway, I have enjoyed looking at everybody else's metal, so I thought I would contribute... here are the specs:
-Phil Wood high flange hubs tied to 32h open pros.
-Soma 17t cog
-Phil Wood BB
-Record crank (49t)
-Izumi 'Esh' 1/8" chain
-MKS sylvan pedals w/ MKS alu. toe clips
-3ttt pista handle bars, stem spinning around CK 2Nut headset
-Salsa seatpost (anybody else have one? extremely easy to adjust and not bad looking)
-Sela Italia saddle
Thanks for the past few months of inspiration.
