I'm still desperately hoping to find a set of the old Velo Orange straddle cable hangers.

I don't like the newer Gran Compe version nearly as much. The Compass Rene Herse hangers are lovely, but I do prefer the round curves of the old VO ones. Shame VO has no plans to make them again.

Funny thing... I posted here, fairly quickly bought a pair of Eclipse rear panniers from a forum member (non-slide-lock), then Colorado Trek seller separated and sold me the rack and slide-lock panniers, then Raleigh got in touch last week, said he'd be in my area and would I still like them. His were the slide-lock fronts, plus the adapters for the blackburn style front rack. So now I have slide lock front and rear set, two rear racks, front adapter, and a second set of rear panniers with standard attachments.

Oh, and the Mt. Whitney that the original Eclipse rack is slated for Fat Franks, and the rear support has a tapered section that may limit my tire/fender clearance. It may go on a different bike now, but I'm excited to have everything!

I'm taking the one off my Cannondale, spending 5 minutes at work cadding it out and getting a couple 3D printed. Damn things are like hens teeth.

Took me quite a while to find a TA Pro 5 Vis ring with bashguard, especially if you still want to use it as a triple.

Other notable rarities, Mafac Racer vertical mount and Titan Luxe stem.

Turns out they were probably limited to tandems and TA never even mentions them in its brochures.

Bikes: Seriously downsizing.

TA 116BCD three arm chain ring in 38-40t (or ANY manafacture's chain ring).

MAVIC 25mm seatpost.

White hoods for Dura-Ace 7401 levers.

Sent you a DM.

Go to eBay.fr the big keywords here are:
  • Plateau = chainring
  • Pedalier = crankset
  • Dents = teeth
  • 3 bras = three arm
  • Vintage
  • Ancien = old
Combine those together and you will find a few options from time to time.

Seems like Nervar, Simplex, Stronglight TS and Specialites TA are some of the options out there.

The black insert for a 7403 brake caliper cable insertion arm. It "fills" the D-shaped hole and has a "waved" top for the barrel adjuster to fit into.

And, of course, 7402 brake hoods, but they're not as obscure.
