Please help identifying this Campagnolo group...

Hi. While this is not really a question about "vintage" it was suggested to me in the Roadie forum that I cross-post my question here because you guys know your groups like the back of your hand.

I am trying to identify this group. The rear derailleur says Mirage but the rest suggests higher end parts such as Chorus? I suspect the rear derailleur was a downgrade or a way to save some money for the original owner, who otherwise maintains that the components are "Campagnolo Super". I wrongly assumed he meant "Super Record" but after seeing these photos this is definitely not the case (this is about it as far as my knowledge of Campagnolo groups). Otherwise all I know about the bike is that it was purchased new in the late 90s, custom built.

I don't have access to catalogues of the late 90s, to more photos of the bike, or the bike itself for another week. I'd like to know what I have on my hands and what to look at when I go pick it up, etc.

Thank you for any information!

mirage RD
chorus monoplaner (sp?) brakes
CdA/Chrous cranks and perhaps FD, shifters and seatpost.
By that time all seatposts that were not record looked the same to me in the catalogues (talking circa 90/91ish)

Nice score BTW!

cyclotoine, that was fast as lightning!

You mean that I shouldn't complain about the bike not being "Campagnolo Super" as advertised and should gladly hand the $130 to the seller next week? :D

I don't have reasons to think they mismatched all kinds of parts for fun, so the seatpost, shifters, front derailleur are probably Chorus (or "equivalent" like Croce d'Aune as you say) like the brakes.
(At worst if the frame didn't fit me perfectly I'd have an almost complete Chorus gruppo.)

Thank you!

https://www.tuttocampybici.com/catalogs/1992.pdfWith a quick look through the campy catologs, I'd wager dollar to dougnuts that the RD of the Record variety with the front chainring and FD being either Chorus or Athena... I'm kinda new at this stuff, but thats what my "educated" guess is...

Thanks.
The rear derailleur is a Mirage because it's written on it, so 1996 or 1997 based on the catalogues you just sent a link to... but to me (uneducated guess) it looks completely identical to earlier Chorus derailleurs. Other parts have to be Chorus or so because you guys say so, and earlier than 1996 because of the logo. I can't wait to see the bike, what the hubs and rest of the parts are, and riding this thing!
