Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Or just for me? Mods, PM me if I'm banned from foo, but I keep getting Not Accepting New Posts messages. But the newest posts are all from 5:30PM or so today, so I don't think it's just me...

The newest post on foo is from 5:35 PM today. Try to post a reply to a thread there now and see what happens. It's 11:15PM in NY, that was 5+ hours ago.

Why am I banned from foo? Don't they PM you when they ban you from someplace? Or do they simply shoot you in the back of the head?

Getting banned from FOO is more humiliating than getting rejected from Community College. Getting banned from FOO shows that you have absolutely no reason to exist on this planet.

I would have posted this in Foo but Foo is closed. That's like a closed parking lot in Manhattan.

It's a problem.

I don't know how bad nom nom nom got as I miss most of the realtime posts being this side of the world but it does seem to be getting petty around here.

I appreciate the mods here, they have been helpful in the past and the forum is spam less and troll less to the best part. But recently there seems to be a change.

Can't wait till winter stops in the Western hemisphere and things get back to near normal.

On the other hand I don't even have a red star so what do I know.

That's a polite way to put it.

Damn. Here I go thinking I was banned. I was actually kind of tickled. Enough so that I sent botto a PM asking for advice since he knows a thing or two about bandom.

So, it was closed because it got rowdy? Or because people responded to crazy posts over .. and over .. and over. I guess I missed a party.

People were having too much fun.

Mods don't like fun.

Foo is closed until further notice, and as popular as the subject may be, the last thing we need to Foo-type threads starting in non-Foo subforums.

So I am going to close this one.

Please see this thread if you still do not understand.

https://www.bikeforums.net/showthread.php?t=386472

I think Tom made it perfectly clear.

Now back to Roadie talk.
