Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Shamals, including track ones were laced that way on non drive side. Since these hubs are beefier than Campy's and would transfer more torque to a non drive side I am going to lace them 2x on both sides. Anyways, it is good to know that the man stands behind his product despite stupid usage.

Cheers,
v.

The guy who makes them can be contacted at probushomo@o2.pl - It's OK I checked with him before publishing his email.

when are you gonna build them up so you can see how they roll and take abuse? We need more info! but I changed my mind from the other thread. They look pretty nice in that industrial bomb-proof way.

Nice. They remind me of the Practika cameras ( I am an old camera guy ) that could be used to smash a Nikon into pulp and still take pictures.

I have laced 16-spoke one with Sapim bladed spokes to vento/shamal rim already. I am waiting for the cogs to ride them. The 32 hole everyday riding one is waiting for the suitable rim. I think I need something which is not tubular, for change.

Cheers,
v

It's in the ebay/craigslist thread. It was a few pages back. I need to go to bed.

Right, I found it doing "track hub" search. The auction is for high flange 32 spoke set.
