Obviously there's a population component that makes the SoCal forum quite active, but having lived in Northern California for the past 14 years, I can tell you there are tons of cyclists from the coast to the valley to the foothills. Feel free to use this thread as a catch all or a "what's up" type spot. Weigh in and let us know what you are up to!

It is quite interesting how active the Socal forum is. In the last year I moved from Socal (woodland hills) to Folsom. There was some riding in socal but not to the extent there is up here. I hated riding in Socal but I love it up here. Some great rides all over the Sacramento and outlying areas. Maybe we can get this forum going!

So dauphin.
Me, Liz, Jon and maybe Danno are going to meet for a ride in early April. Gonna see if Bikingshearer wants to come. You are invited. No date for sure set, have to talk to Liz since she is coming from NC.

Okay. I'm going to bed soon. Will you ask Bikingshearer for me? First week of April. Maybe on the Sunday. That is when Danno can make it. I can ask for the day off and I think you and Bikingshearer are off. Jon is always off. Or you can just show him this post.

I'm up for new roads to ride. Heck, every weekend we ride a 30 mi. fairly flat route, or a 40+ mi. hilly ride. And if you want hills, we have 'em here in Vacaville. I'm willing to travel for new challenges. What have you got?
