Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

So I am bebopping through Olympia in my Scion when very bright yellow shirt catches my attention. Well low and behold is a cyclist in a bright yellow shirt and lycra, in front of Starbucks, feet propped up, glasses on, and coffee in hand. I just had to chuckle. He was the ultimate picture of relaxation!

I was in Olympia today. With a bike. At a Starbucks. Wearing lycra. Feet propped up. Glasses on. Coffee in hand.

I didn't notice any Scions though. What's a Scion?

This is a scion, they're "customizable from the factory" vehicles. from what I understand.

How is that posuer? Some guy went riding and wanted a 500 calorie coffee drink after he finished and before he got home. Sounds pretty typical to me.

Scion is a brand of bread for midgets. At least I think that's what those little panel trucks deliver.

Odd, I was also in Olympia. Not to ride though. I had to drive all the way down there, just to get my wife a Glace frozen yogurt from the All-American yogurt at the Westfield mall. What men won't do for their wives.

Bikes: Still have a few left!

While you're watching yellow jersey guy at Starbucks, don't run over that old man on the blue Torelli!
