The kindness of a stranger

This box arrived at my home yesterday, rather late in the day.

It was raining, and dark. There was not a dent or ding on the box. I only went as far as opening the box to make certain that the contents were intact.

They were.

And we know it wasn't for East Hill, or she would have shredded that cardboard with her teeth.

The box might be too big for an East Hill bike anyway.

No, the box is NOT too big for an East Hill size bike.

Day dawned here on the East Hill cloudy, but not raining. It's definitely a bike box.

LOL! I have never seen a bike look sexier...like it's peeking over it's shoulder in a come hither fashion.

It's NOT what I thought it was. I can already tell.

It does have pedals, but they were removed from the bike before it got boxed up.

No, this is not taunting! This is allowing everyone to enjoy the opening of a thing of beauty, and an ode to the generosity of a stranger.

Some of you may start to recognise this by now.

It's beautiful! It's a corky gulbransen isn't it?

Edit: just saw the drop-out so it can't be. This is a brilliant way of debuting a bike... gets everyone excited.

East Hill, are you going to be spending the rest of the winter meticulously cleaning every square inch of the components and frame?

Lotek: Green.
