Yeah, that sounds like justice to me. A prick on a permanent power trip with a high school education and a gun decides to **** somebody else for a change and we call it justice.

werewolf, I wish you hadn't edited that out. I looked at the original version via the audit log, and it was a pretty cool post!

OK, I'll re-post it:
I was minding my own business riding my bike on the side of the road this morning when a van load full of punks drove by fast and honked the horn, and one of them stuck its head out the window and yelled something at me. I didn't hear what it said, but I doubt if it was nice. Then a police car suddenly materialized - I don't know if he was hiding someplace or following them - and he lit them up and pulled them over. When I went over, the friendly cop told me he saw them yell at me and he asked if they drove too close to me (they didn't). He said he was charging them with illegal use of a horn, aggressive driving, and a lot of other stuff that he a hadn't quite figured out yet. He said he was gonna throw the book at them - and that was before they were even tested for DUI. Last I saw was backup police cars arriving on the scene. Excellent!

I don't know if all those charges were coming from just yelling at little ol moi, or if they had been following them and seen them do other stuff before.

There were two police in the store I work at *****ing about how sketchy it was to ride along spadina ( a major street here In toronto with what looks like a bike lane) because of all the places you could get doored... I laughed and said it was nice to hear cops talking like cyclists, then sold them some fenders for there popomobiles

I get friendly waves from the cops here in Fort Worth. The only problem I've had with cops involving bicycles is when I got a ticket for illegal left turn (I thought it was okay for two lanes to turn left, but only one was legal) while I was in my car, and got pulled over by a cop on a bicycle!

Couple summers ago while on vacation in another state, I was coming in from a ride and approaching the local business district. Approaching a set of lights on a long grade, I had a steady green and was moving fairly well and in the right lane (multilane roadway). Instinct gave me a bad feeling about a car on the right waiting at the red, and sure enough he pulled out almost right on top of me to take a right. I was easily able to merge into the left lane and proceeded around him while giving him a long look with two fingers pointing into my eyes as I did so (the pay attention and lookout gesture).
Well apparently this interlude didn't go unnoticed by the local constabulary who immediately lit the guy up and pulled him over a little further up the road. The cool thing was that the officer gave me a thumbs up as I proceeded past the stop. Don't know if the guy was ticketed, warned or just lectured to be more observant, but was nice to know that not all officers take riders as a nuisance.
To the OP, yeah, it is a good feeling for a change isn't it!

I had a similar thing like that happen to me. I'm at a group ride and some teens buzzed past us, honking their horns and flicking us off. We didn't think much of it, but then a cop pulls out behind them, we all thought, where was he 2 seconds ago. Well the light changes to red. I'm like, holy ****, sweet. I sprint as fast as I can to catch up. I knock on the cops window and say that the car tried to hit us and flicked us off. He asks this car, point to the one in front of us. We said yes as the kids start yelling f-u, not cool, to us. As the light turns green, he puts his lights on and pulls the kids over. Don't know what became of it, but at least it was something.
