*Bike Porn* Look what I brought home from the LBS
After about 6 months of not riding due to gay thieves, I finally got a new bike.
It's a Mongoose Pro DH, they are only avaliable in Australia and were designed by Pro racers who have entered in and used these bikes in the Redbull Ride.
Frame: Mongoose DH, horitontal drop-outs, 6-9.5 inches of travel (10.5 if you set up correctly with 24inch wheel)
Rear Shock: Fox Vanilla RC
Fork: Marzocchi Jnr T '03 with integrated stem and marzocchi mud guard
Headset: FSA Pig DH Pro
Wheelset: Sun rim Big Fat Mammoth, Da Bomb Head Spin hub, 13gauge spokes Front and Rear
Tyres: Maxxis Mobster Super Tacky 2.5
Brakes: Hayes Mags 8inch Front and Rear
Crankset: X-Drive Xtreme,
Bottom Bracket:Truvativ GigaPipe Team DH
Pedals: DaBomb
Bars: Titec Hellbent
Rear Derailleur: Shimano XT
Front Derailleur: NA- MRP Copy Chain Device
Rear Shifter: Shimano XT
Seatpost: Easton
Seat:WTB Rocket V
Now most people say MongoosePro are bad but obviously you haven't seen this bike.

wow... so much for my theory that Mongoose had stooped to the department store bike level. We can find mongoose bikes here at Wal-Mart. THAT bike won't be found at a wal-mart though. Very nice, looks like a it's quite the tank. I doubt it'll be shedding parts anytime soon. lol

Hey been looking at it and just got a thing from the bike store and there are exactly 90 different positions I can adjust the smingarm and parallelogram link in. All giving slightly different head angles and wheel base and bb clearance and seat angle and travel The shortest travel setting is actually 4 inches and the largest travel setting is 10.5 inches. It is so adjustable, I like

Hyundai did pretty well with their Tiburon GT-V6. Not the quickest car, but man that thing hugs the road. Also has the smoothest 6-speed I have ever seen, period. Only gripes are how crappy the interior is, and it's a somewhat noisy ride...but outside of that, a pretty good little sportscar. If I ever decide to get another sportscar, it might be one of these.
