Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

I think that if i ever met you i would be forced to fight you. But on the internet, i like you.

p.s. -- due to my recent acquisition of a job at a bike shop, i too will soon be joining you in the land of the geared. I promise to stay true to my fixed roots.

I thought those were part of the skull, and the hat was just stuck over them to make it appear somewhat normal...

Exactly...
A friend of mine has the DVD set, and it is very pricey indeed, for the few discs that it is... at least for my standards.

Alas, no. It doesn't have a sweatband. I couldn't find one big enough.

It's actually red, but otherwise you're right!

It doesn't fit under my helmet.

its like the perfect anti-helmet statement. not only do you not have a helmet, you've got steel spikes ready to provide a slow and painful death upon impact. I love hawks though. I think I'll do that same thing with studs instead of spikes.

That reminds me of two punks on the metro in Paris a couple of years ago. Drunk by mid afternoon and swaying with bottles of cheap wine in thier hands. Trying to intimidate other passengers.
(Yeah I know, half the posters here.)
They had soo many spikes through their faces to try to look intimidating. My reaction was to unhook my backpack from one shoulder.
My thought was, one swipe and your face is hamburger.

Head Sweats is a Cincinnati company. Cincinnati is soooo much cooler than San Francisco.
