Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? Looking to buy a Freewheel

Is this a good freewheel?

Shimano 18 tooth freewheel for 1/2"x1/8" - Walmart.com

Currently, Walmart doesn't have this item in stock. Anyone know any shops that do? Any alternative options besides the Shimano?

Bikes: Several, mostly not name brands.

Shimano freewheels are generally decent. Make sure you can get a remover for whatever freewheel you decide upon.
