Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

New and torn between what bike to get

I'm trying to get a fixed gear bike and I'm torn between a pure fix bike and a trek earl. I'm just trying to get people's opinions on them or actual user experiences

Thanks for the input I'll look into the kilo tt. I guess I should also say that just because I'm torn between the two doesn't mean that I'm not open to other suggestions. I'm just trying to get a decent bike to start with and get back into riding with! Thanks!
