No name frame shipped to Cambodia in a container with hundreds of other junker bikes.
I sanded it down and rattlecaned the grey. Deore XT 9 speed shifters, FD and rapid rise RD. Deore hubs laced to some no name rims with Schwalbe Big Apple 700 x 50c, Brooks C-20 cambium, 720mm bars, and FSA crank and chainrings. http://i260.photobucket.com/albums/i..._170842558.jpg http://i260.photobucket.com/albums/i..._170859649.jpg http://i260.photobucket.com/albums/i..._170919958.jpg http://i260.photobucket.com/albums/i..._170853045.jpg it was one of my SS a while back |
Finally remembered to take a pic during my ride this morning.

Seat cluster sticker is A+. Those levers look so far away though.

Seat cluster sticker is boss. Would totally rock that on any of my bikes.

Unlike Tenspeedv2, I love gumwalls. But they do seem like an unusual choice for that bike.
I think they look great and they definitely perform really well. Better than the Conti GP4KIIs I had on there before. |

For appearance or performance?

I was at a larger performance bike store the other day and despite the rare sight of a DA 9000 equipped fuji's, the first thing to catch my eye were the clearance late-model charge MTBs with gumwalls. |

It's not just you. Same way here, and then I see them on a TT bike or aggressive road bike and I am like wtf?
