The DA 9000 crankset meshes better than that quark you had on there

Would love to see how it would look with some white bottle cages. Looks mean either way, nice job.

are those salsa handlebars? they look nice and wide.

40cm Pro Vibe 7s, and king ti cages are the best, so I'm not really inclined to switch to anything else. I think bottle cages should either be nude carbon or metal, so I'm not a fan of white cages anyways haha.

Yeah full 9070 group with DA pedals is nice. Everything is reliable, shifts amazing, and is not terribly heavy. Going to get a pioneer upgrade kit for power in a couple months though, because having power is pretty useful.

I dig that blue

TimothyH 12-02-16 07:52 AM

Thanks. It is Illusion Blue Berg by Prismatic PowdersIt's got a heavy metal flake and reflects a lot of light. Sometimes just after sunset it reflects so much ambient light that it seems to glow. The best part is that it cost only $140. :D

Speed G+ were literally just put on before the pictures. I haven't even sat on the bike with these tires and can't wait to actually ride them.

Needless to say....a pretty outstanding build! Did your bum not jive with the Power saddle or was it the limited single position while on it?

I actually really really like the power saddle, but the Antares is white... I have a friend who works at a specialized shop help me order a white power saddle, but it's backordered, so I'm waiting for that

The power saddles in white(had to edit cause typing wh*t* p*w*r felt weird) look really sharp. I just switched over to a power saddle(the pro) and already reaping the benefits. Amazing perch.

motrheadsroadie 12-02-16 11:04 AM

classic ti flite or nothing.

I made a post on a Facebook group asking for a power saddle in white and didn't even think about that, and got roasted pretty hard :/

I' fixin' to get ready to buy a Fabric. Probably a Scoop Flat Ultimate.

Feedback from anyone with direct experience would be welcome.

Tried one for a few months and it didn't work out.

Flite ti is too narrow for my sitbones, all my weight is on my pereneum and it's all bad.

Yeah it's too round of a profile for my anatomy. #asianbutt

motrheadsroadie 12-05-16 10:23 AM

a specialized saddle on a cannondale does way more damage.

Mumonkan 12-05-16 10:26 AM

i believe thats called butthurt

franswa 12-05-16 10:49 AM

Okay.

Same, but #whitebutt

I do have a Flite Flow Ti with the cutout in the middle and slightly wider profile and I will say it's far more comfortable.

Since we're talking classic Flite saddles, can anyone tell me they how compare to a Concor?

motrheadsroadie 12-06-16 09:37 AM

a concor is heavier and predates the flite.

IAmSam 12-06-16 01:39 PM

Yeah, hard to believe but Concor originated in late '70s. I have a somewhat older Concor Light that has very similar shape to my daily rider Flite 1990 reissue just a little more "domed", and it doesn't weigh much more either.

Well, as long as I'm already here...

There was an alloy-railed Concor Superleggera that was ~230g so similar to the Flite.

The original Concor and the current re-issue (Supercorsa?) are MUCH more rounded/saddle shaped than the Flite. The Concor Lite is also pretty round.

My wife isn't currently using her pink and black Concor Light and I'm pretty sure I need to build my cross bike around it. It's so comfy.

Dannihilator 12-27-16 05:28 PM

It's done.
