Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Why would you leave Pynchon out of that list? Anyone want a banana - I could really go for a banana.

Who's Dutchess? If it consoles you any Mayo... a rollerblader heckled me once and I made him fall down and called him a f***t too.

But I also got off my bike and gave him the opportunity to come start a fist fight with me. (He declined)

Appearance is more important than substance when posing.
Plus, Pynchon hates posties too!

It's funny, I just finished "The Crying of Lot 49". While reading the book, it was always in the back of my mind that I had seen the "horn" and the word "trystero" somewhere. Gave me a weird feeling. Turns out, it was you on bikeforums!

dear people who still continue to think that using homophobic language is not, well, homophobic:

it is.

oh, and we're not "touchy" nor are we being "pc." it's about calling out language that is homophobic (or racist, misogynist, etc). deal with it and stop being so "touchy."
