Single speed cross drive train question
Okay, another "newbie" question(s)...
Having chosen my hubs I'd like to know if I can use a SRAM Force CX1 as my crankset with a single speed freewheel? If so which freewheel(s) should I look into and which chain should I use?
Any advice?

Not sure what chainline that crank will give you. A singlespeed freewheel on a track hub will generally be a 42mm chainline (give or take) so it may be worth looking into that if you're set on using that crank.
If you know exactly what gearing you want to run I highly recommend a White Industries freewheel. Otherwise just throw whatever's cheap on until you decide on what gear you want to run.
Almost any 8-speed or lower chain will probably work.

Which hubs are you using? This will determine what chainline you have and whether or not you can use Sram CX1. My understanding is that CX1 is meant for use with road/cross bikes which generally have 130mm spacing in the rear and a different chainline than most single speed or track bikes.
