I don't want to like the Work frame, but dammit, it's pretty much exactly what I want.

Samesies. But for a couple hundred more I can get a Nature Boy disc complete bike. F*** brake strips on black wheels.

.... Buuuut, I would like the ease of going from a street wheel set to cross wheel set. :foo:

Could this surprise we've been waiting on happen to be a steel Vigorelli?

I would hope it's something more exciting than yet-another-black-track-frame. :/

Leukybear 08-27-16 11:47 PM

Speaking about the vigorelli, an opportunity to snag some custom one-of-a-kind framesets is coming soon. It's a collab between two companies whose names start with a C that's going to benefit charity.

The best part is they're gonna be scratch-n-sniff too!

neamatoad 08-29-16 03:59 PM

finally I can represent my love for biscuits n gravy with something other than my gut

Wspsux 08-29-16 08:05 PM

Damnit. Steel Vig....I better start thinking of excuses now.

IAmSam 09-11-16 06:00 AM

Since he didn't outright say no to it when I proposed this a couple weeks ago - I'm still betting that Leukybear's mention way back of waiting for MASH’s next big thing referred to a steel Vig
Here it is without the all black masking and appears will have a color-matched crabon fork as in 2nd pic...

Well that's certainly not ugly as hell at all.

JeremyLC 09-11-16 12:49 PM

I feel like I've seen that color scheme somewhere recently...

Scrodzilla 09-11-16 01:02 PM

The steel Vigorelli's paint scheme looks nothing like a Zephyr (which hit the market three years ago) aside from there being multiple colors.

seau grateau 09-11-16 02:19 PM

Main difference being the Zephyr looks nice.

JeremyLC 09-11-16 03:37 PM

The only color they don't share is the green. I get it, though, that it is a variation of the Italo LTD color scheme from the aluminium version. (and Team Cinelli x Chrome) I don't like it, but I get it.

Colors aside, if the geometry is the same, will this feel any different than the Al. version? What practical differences would there be?

Columbus Thron tubing vs 7000-series aluminum.

#steelisreal

I'd still rather ride a Bare Knuckle.

seau grateau 09-11-16 10:29 PM

Maybe it's built to survive fixie-crit crashes better than the alu version.

Wspsux 09-12-16 12:16 PM

Ugh. Why so ugly? At least I don't need a bigger apartment anymore.

IAmSam 10-13-16 11:56 AM

If anybody is at all interested...more re the steel Vig...

It does Look a tad less garish here. I'm still not sure if I think it's ugly.
