Dura Ace 7600

Hey I know that these go for like 300 at Business Cycles and on Ben's Bikes, but is that the best price? I might have a line for a set of new in box in either 36 or 32 spoke (my choice) but I don't want to pay more than I should. Should I just pay the 300 or should I offer him less, would you guys pay the 300 for them?
Thanks!

I picked up a pair in Japan for $150. They're double-sided, 32H. I couldn't find single-sided.

I think Reload has some of these, if we're on the same page regarding what DA 7600 entails.

Thanks for the replies. I am going to get them, won't say how much but its well under 300, just have to call and make sure he still has them. Now I need to decide what rims to lace them to, decisions, decisions.

Does anybody know where I might be able to score a 120mm rear? The one I have is the funky 110mm keirin spacing. Or if anybody wants to trade/sell one pm me. Thanks.

Ugh. I really just need a rear. But, if a pair is all that can be had, I may have to eat it. Damn this funky keirin spacing!!! Damn you Shimano and your discontinuing ways!!!

can't you just replace the axle and add a couple spacers?

If not I could check my shop to see if they'll sell the rear only.

Oh well, it was still a good deal. John at business cycles is lacing them to some arayas as we speak. If James on fgg would get back to me about his cinelli olympic, I just might have the need for another pair, and then I'll want single-sided.

I suppose I could try that. But wouldn't it screw up the chainline? I was under the impression that the shells were different. Apparently not as I just compared them with a standard spaced hub. So it's all in the axle length? I could just throw in a spacer or two and voila!?

Sorry if this sounds ignorant, but this is the first time I've come across this and I'm a bit miffed.

Or...could I just order a replacement axle kit from Business Cycles? They come with the nuts, cones, spacers and everything else. That should theoretically transform this hub into a standard 120 spacing??

i'm sure once a few of these people from the forum buy a frame from e-framebank you'll find someone who will eventually realize they need a 110mm rear hub you can sell to them.

it won't screw up chainline as long as you add 5mm spacers to each side. chainline is measured from the bike's centerline.
you might not even need a new axle. check it in your frame, it might be long enough.
you certainly don't need new cones or locknuts.
your LBS should have spacers for a couple of bucks.
