brutal...for every 1 ignorant power hungry cop, there are 100 good ones like the one in Cavernmech's post yesterday. From this post thread, I am not saying Adam "deserved" to have his bike trashed, but my guess is that he ran into an immature cop, who didn't appreciate Adam's own immature antics...

To paint all cops with the same brush is just as bad as painting all messengers, women, african americans, asians, caucasisans, etc...with the same brush...

Yeah this guy I mentioned was not quite a saint but man, he was a good guy. A buddy said he even recognized his Spar Select jersey as a cyclocross thing, so he actually liked bikes. He was fit and had done a running road race the day before...perhaps a bit tired he made a fatal mistake walking into the path of a car that had a green light.
