Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Bicycle Heaven Museum

I know a lot of members here prefer modern equipment, but I kinda feel like this thread is a must see for any and all bike enthusiasts. There is a crazy "museum" in Pittsburgh PA that is just insane. Worth looking.

One of the C&V members posted "That's my kinda freak show!"

It's just a dude that took collecting to an insane level. He got the old factory space after filling five garages with 2,400 bikes and realized that nobody was able to appreciate them there.

I dig the '60s black light room.

I am a modern bike kind of guy, but I would still love to go there and look around. Thanks for sharing this.

Very cool. I'll have to check it out if I'm ever in Pittsburgh.

It was either that or have a relative sign him up for an episode of hoarders. I'd like to look around but wouldn't know enough to appreciate what I saw.

It is just so kitsch. A ton of low end bikes and oddities but they are super cool. I would love to check them out if I am ever in Pittboigh
