Where is the Cinelli Mash Works Frameset made?

Can anyone confirm the country of origin where the Cinelli Mash Work Frameset is made?

Looking to build up a new frameset, really like the 2017 Mash Work, but at $899 not sure I'd want to spend the money if it's made in China or Taiwan. Just personal preference.

Otherwise I think I'd rather spend a little more for a Mercian Super Vigorelli frameset. Longer wait though.

Thanks!

It's definitely not made in Italy.

Bikes: stinner cx, paramount track

so your choices are down to a mass produced sscx type of bike vs an actual handmade track frame?

Just two frames that I liked and I'm sure both roll fine once you get wheels on them. Any other suggestions? Budget somewhere between $900-$1300

I also looked at the Wabi classic, if I wanted to save money that is the route I'd go. Maybe it's the logical thing to do instead of spending money on a "dream" bike.

If I were to order the Mercian it would obviously be custom. I wouldn't go too tight on the geometry and id order it with water bottle bosses on both the downtube and seat tube. I ride road 15-30 miles and it can get hot in Georgia during the summer.

Id like the mercian better if it had a flat crown fork.

Unless the stickers on the frames and markings on the box are bold-faced lies, the MASH Work frameset is made in Taiwan.

Well, if you want something handmade in Italy, these start at 850 Euro according to the price sheet they sent me.

Bikes: Foundry Chilkoot Ti W/Ultegra Di2, Salsa Timberjack Ti, Cinelli Mash Work RandoCross Fun Time Machine, 1x9 XT Parts Hybrid, Co-Motion Cascadia, Specialized Langster, Phil Wood Apple VeloXS Frame (w/DA 7400), R+M Supercharger2 Rohloff, Habanero Ti 26

I love my Cinelli Mash Work no matter where it is made but the Mercian is a great choice. You can customize it to where you can get something that will fit 32c tires, have canti brakes, 120 spacing with track ends in Reynolds 853 and some cool paint. I had considered going that route and I may end up there at some point because using their little online frame builder tool I did come up with some cool jonx.

I would go for a dream bike, they are worth it and you will love that bike. My Work is close to a dream bike but on a bit of a budget. If it was a total dream it probably would be either 853, 953/XcR or Ti and would have had a fork set up for a contactless dynamo and a SON hub (no issues with the SP hub I have currently) and probably a Phil Wood hub rear and either White Industries or PW cranks and BB but other than that the Work is pretty damn close.
