Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? Nice looking frame, but would be much better paired with a curved fork IMO.

Well, it's nice, but I like the chrome better. I think it would be better paired with a crabon fibre fork.

So glad I got mine when it was chrome with a curved fork.

Ah, no more green? That frame is slick but it really needs a curved fork.

I think it's sexy. However I was hoping they'd release one with rack and render capabilities.

I was hoping they'd release one with a second set of water bottle cage mounts on the downtube. Cuz in long rides in Texas summer heat, one water bottle don't cut it.

Yeah, I have a 2011 khaki Rush, and it's my favorite color. I also prefer the fastback seatstays on the older Rush.

I dig the size, shape and bends of the chain stays. Everything else just seems kinda regular.

Still a good frameset but the chrome rush was the pinnacle for the model thus far.

Think it's an improvement from the chrome for sure. Wasn't a fan.

But I prefer my old black one with a curved fork and minimal stickers.

Any way you slice it, it's a nice frame, understated, comfortable ride, light, subtle and quick geometry. Makes a perfect urban fixed gear.

Looks pretty good, but it's no chrome rush for sure.

I'd buy the new Big Block instead.

The seattube decal looks better. Having the water bottle mount still on the seattube instead of moving it to the downtube was a bit of a mistake, though. Having to reach between your legs to the seattube when riding fixed is a bit of a pain.

I think the colour has potential--the pics might not be doing it justice. The anthracite colour of my Wabi Special has waaaay more character in person than it does in pictures.

Chromed chainstays/seatstays/forkblades/headtube + graphite colour would have been the best of both worlds.

It's not bad but not chrome and a curved fork would look boss. Though if they hadn't done the chrome version I would say the color isn't so bad and reminds me a little of my raw/smoke finish on the C-note.

I would give it plenty of clearance for wider tires (with brakes), some fender and rack mounts (maybe cantis, whynot) and of course two places to place to add bottle cages or other storage type dealies. I might also consider 1 1/8 headset but only because I prefer 31.8 bars (flat top sections don't typically come on smaller diameter bars)

However all that said I might consider building one at some point in the nearish future.

It's a little boring compared to the chrome one but I like it. It looks better in person.
