Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Second picture was definitely an improvement. ]

+ 1 Chrome drops and the seat a little lower would have been perfect.

Cant really lower the seat since its where it needs to be for my legs. frame is about a size or two too small.

Trying to pretty up a bike that's too small is kind of a losing game.

Unless you are prettying up for sale. Agree though that bikes that don't fit are not worth keeping.

nah, i love this bike, and I have others, so even though its a little small ( a 51 and I need a 53 ) i'm never letting go of it. I'd sell my full carbon race bike before this guy.

lol people recommending drops to a person riding a stem flipped up and bullhorns tilted up enough to rival mtb bar ends

Risers would have been a good idea. Tilt the nose up on the saddle a bit, it's pointing too far down for a brooks.
