Best high end ss/fixie?

The high end isn't really my thing (makes my wrists hurt), but this one is pretty nice:

I guess you'd need to buy gaudy aftermarket components to make it a fixie though, so it's not really complete like you want, sorry

Without a doubt Vanilla Urban Racer. Be prepared to hand over five grand or so.

Well, I always have to recommend the Little Wing when someone asks about expensive "fixies".
(I should get mine within the next weekish

From the "Urban Racer Guidebook" (emphasis added)
CHAIN GUARD
Each Urban Racer comes with a chainguard of our
own design and made here in the shop from super
light stainless steel. It’s the most svelte chainguard
you’ll ever see.
The frame mounts are also stainless steel and pierce
both walls of the downtube and the seat tube. This
makes for a clean look, but also adds stiffness and
makes for a better power transfer.

Also the description says it has a two speed hub, so not a single speed. Still a cool looking bike though.

The Thruster 700c is a well renowned fixie bicycle that sets the standard for high end completes. Not many people on this forum have had them because the price point is out of reach for most.

They can also be set up for Velodrome racing if you're into that. You may want to ask in the racing forum about which bars people use to convert them.

I was in a little shop today and saw a very nice All City. I thought it was a Macho King, because it had a carbon fork and paint job like the pics of that model on their website. Disc brakes, too. But it was single speed. Maybe a Nature Boy Disc with Macho King fork?
Anyway, it was beautiful, and only 2500 bucks more than I can afford. (They wanted $2500 for it.) I consider this high-end for SS/FG.

One thing I have learned, what someone thinks is a beautiful and amazing bike, someone else thinks it looks goofy. Get what you like, and don't worry what anyone else thinks. And put damn black tires on it for %(@+ sake!!
