That was fun, it'd be more fun if i was in shape, but fun nonetheless. Bonus points for being at PP, this way i won't be too lazy to go since it's 5min from my place.

Bikes: Dolan track

Today is Thursday- lets get everyone out there tonight (the more people the bigger the purse). 10pm (actual start around 10:20 or so) and bring $2. I’m without a bike yet again this week but I’ll be there to say, “Go!” All in favor of having lightgraphs start 60-90 seconds after everyone else say “I” (just trying to keep it interesting)

AYE!!! but I don't think 90 seconds is enough of a handycap for lightgraphs... We should put extra weights on him or something...

Just wanted to thank everyone who came out to the race tonight. It’s great to see more people each week. Lightgraphs took first, Rob took a close second and Adam took an even closer third. Let’s try and get more people out next week- I think we’re going to try relays to keep it interesting. I hope to have my bike by then. It would be nice to hear other suggestions for different types of races on a 3.3-mile track.

that was too much fun! I can't wait for next week now.

I'm into the relay idea and I had a thought, if we do a race like last night again we might move the start-finish line up to the 3rd street exit or farther to get the finish away from the hill -- it could make for a more interesting final sprint. Just a thought.

That was the most fun I've had in a long time.

i agree....realllll good time. That was my first race ever and i'll definitely find my way down there again soon. Unfortunately not for the relays though...i'm bummed, but prior engagements prevail.

I think i came in 5th, unfortunately too far behind the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th place fun. I heard it was super close though.

Somewhere, out there on the road, are the remains of the Pad Thai I had about an hour before race time.

I hear you on that one... it's a bad idea to have three slices of pizza with a pile of veggies heaped on top 15 minutes before race time. But it was so delicious I couldn't help myself. Definitely paid for it during the loops. Ugh. Thankfully, I didn't yak.

Friends don't let friends eat too much before racing.

Bikes: a disassembled bianchi lynx i'm gonna convert to ss, a felt roadie with carbon fork, and my baby blue peugeot roadie conversion. a couple sizes too large.

no yakking, just ****zing over here. it was fun, though.

btw, the cookies were good!
