Value of a used 2004 pista frame (no fork)?

I was wondering how much a reasonable prive for an 04 pista frame (only the frame) would be? Since a spankin new 05 built up is $550, Im guessing a used 04 in good condition should go for $125?

Thanks allot,
Justin

I'd put it a little higher than that, but who knows. Are you selling one?

Well, if I take the new complete price, subtract the costs of the components, and adjust for depreciation, I come to about $250. Higher than that and you move into the range of a nicer used frame or a cheap new frame. Depending on conditions in your target market (are Bianchi frames too common, do the cool kids scoff at anything without lugs, etc.) that price can probably come down to $150 at the least.

Bikes: 2 wheels...

if you sell it to a friend $75-100 depending on condition.(you can get a new iro frame+fork for $250)

if you sell it to some idiot on ebay, put the starting bid at $.01 and see what people will pay.

I guess $250 does seem a little steep. I didn't realize the Iro frames were that affordable; I was thinking next step up would be Surly or Soma for ~$350 or more. Spicers are cheaper too though. I still think you could get ~$200 for the Bianchi on Craigslist and/or eBay though.

Ah, that is the frame in question. Nice detective work.

I am considering buying it. Guess it depends how much I want it. I will not pay 200 for it though.
