Check with the crank manufacturer to see what BB they recommend, that is generally how I go and it usually works quite well. VeloBase sometimes has that info. At least for Messenger cranks it is a 103mm spindle length but again double check. A JIS crank and BB will mate up fine just gotta think about spindle length.

Just for future reference, there’s no way anyone would be able to tell you what taper it is by those photos. You would need clear, well lit photo of the spindle ends, particularly the base, where the crank arm would butt up against when installed. Some calliper measurements would also be helpful.
