2011 SE/ Us versus Them

i picked up the unbuilt frame and fork set for $75. It is in really good shape with just a couple scrapes/scratches from sitting around awhile. I used Al’s Rapid Transit bars with a Kink BMX stem. The wheelset is 700C Velocity Chukkers laced to TNT Revolver hubs with a White Industries Dos Eno 16/18T freewheel. It has an Odyssey BB with Mission Cranks, Profile Imperial sprocket and Haro pedals. It has a very long caliper reach do I went with Tektro R559 brakes and Origin 8 levers and Lizard Skin grips. A very fun and smooth riding build!

Love it! Nice classic 80s BMX vibe going on there.

I have one too brotha, nice bike. Bought the white one with red decals back in like 2012 probably, it's a straight up tank.

That's a good price, I bought my frameset for like $280 new back in 2012. Mine is sidelined right now waiting for a new wheelset, it's a pretty cool bike, will fit 2.0-2.1 tires if they're more smooth and the knobs aren't too aggressive. I like having it for shorter rides and snow, it's comfortable anywhere on anything. And it gave me an excuse to go back and buy BMX parts which was fun. It's actually the only bike I don't use a brake on, but I might eventually throw some on with a freewheel.

I am about to buy one of these, but I don't know what size is best for me.
I am 182 cm tall (6 feet) and have a 81 cm (32") standover.
Thanks for the help!

Well since it's sort of a FGFS frame there isn't many sizes. Just a 47cm, 51cm and a large 56cm. I would probably say go with the medium or large, I think mines the 51cm but it might actually be the small I'm 5'9 longer torso shorter legs, I wasn't really going for proper bike fit though and was looking at it more as a BMX bike. I would have fit either the small or medium.
