Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

regarding blommer - some mornings they dump liquid chocolate from a big spigot on the side of the building into the sewer. lots of chocolate. I've only seen it in the winter and it looked like it was steaming.

sometimes they spill the chocolate, and it forms 1/2 inch puddles on the ground, and you can taste it, and its bitter, but its chocolate, then you can roll in it, and its like willie wonka...

Yes, when I worked at the Merchandise Mart we would drive by there many times a day. Sometimes it smells far from good. Like burnt chocolate. But better than the coffee roasting place over by Clybourn/Daemon it stinks over there of burnt coffee every evening it seems.

The Bloomers store in the factory is cheap too. Great for getting people gifts who like chocolate.
