Mercier Decals

Anyone know if Mercier Kilo TT frame decals come put on normally or clearcoated? I'm ordering one and want to know if the decals come off easily (aka the "easily come off with the scrape off withh a credit card method followed by goo-gone to get the extra crap off method" rather than the "wet-sanding followed by an-assload-of-buffing" method. Just want to know what I'm in for. If it's the former, I will prepare by buying goo-gone and turtle-wax. Otherwise, if it's the latter, I'll prepare by stocking up on primer, paint, sealant, and clearcoat (and most-of-all, time. which negates all the money I saved, and I might as well have bought that frejus i've been oggling)

I got the windsor, which is the same deal as your mercier/khs bike (except mine's a fuji). I'm sure it's the same company that rebrands these surplus bikes. my decals are clearcoated over. I tried to remove them by softening with acetone, got impatient during the fourth letter, and scraped through to the primer. so prepare for the worst.

I have more black electrical tape than even a trained stick-shaker could shake a stick at. I usually give it away, unless it's 33+.

Unrelated: How do ya like your Soma? I like what you've done with it.

The reason I ask is my LBS can get me one at cost (and they should too, considering the amount of $$$ I drop in there).
