Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Persistance of Vision lights for your wheel

How cool is this? https://drewish.com/blogger/archives/...d_pov_toy.html

I want one, even though I have no idea what I'd do with it. It'd be nice if you could program it on the fly... cool though.

there was a spoke light system a while back that i thought you could program...momovelo had it. wicked cool and also provides that elusive side-visibility in the dark of night.

You're thinking of Hokey Spokes: we have a set and I rode them on the Dunwich Dynamon (120-mile overnight) last year. They're pretty cool - the full-wheel patterns are hypnotic. And for geek cred, you can program the text from a Palm Pilot.

That thing looks like it has better text - I'm gonna have to breka out my soldering iron.
