Specialized Sirrus Pro - SS Conversion
This is my first single speed bike and the conversion was a fun winter/COVID project. Used what I could and purchased most parts from MEC that I needed.
Started with a Specialized Sirrus Pro from possibly 2001 - picked up on Facebook Marketplace for $10 (was a completed unusable Frankenstein build). Gear: 42T/17T - rebuilt the back wheel (after breaking a spoke) to achieve a good chainline with dish. https://cimg3.ibsrv.net/gimg/bikefor...e4f1e0184b.jpg Before the work - $10 find. https://cimg3.ibsrv.net/gimg/bikefor...1a0f74bfb5.jpg The logo. https://cimg6.ibsrv.net/gimg/bikefor...6005777594.jpg Side profile of bike. https://cimg5.ibsrv.net/gimg/bikefor...1ff214be4e.jpg The goods https://cimg3.ibsrv.net/gimg/bikefor...a74e9f9113.jpg 42T and a free crankset from amazon because the thought they lost the order. https://cimg2.ibsrv.net/gimg/bikefor...3f3dc11f2d.jpg From the front-side https://cimg1.ibsrv.net/gimg/bikefor...7c9c839aed.jpg From the rear-side https://cimg8.ibsrv.net/gimg/bikefor...9826f08355.jpg From the rear the gear https://cimg7.ibsrv.net/gimg/bikefor...82f0454ba6.jpg Front profile |
