Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

I have the Panaracer Pasela ProTite folding tires on my Kilo WT, 32mm front and 35mm rear, and like them a lot. They have decent puncture resistance and are relatively lightweight. They are available in widths all the way up to 38mm.

I've been liking the new Panaracer Gravelking SS's. They are kinda like a cross between the slick Gravelkings and the ones with more tread. They roll really well on pavement but get really nice traction on dirt/grass/gravel if that's something you care about. They're quite light too.

I've been considering the slicks, but the SS have appeal also for their versatility. I mainly ride on the road though, do they roll decently quick on pavement?

They're honestly not super different than my GP4K's aside from the difference that comes from running them at lower pressure. No major noticable sluggishness or anything. Plus you get the added benefit of being able to confidently cut around dog walkers that are blocking the bike path.

Edit: I mostly use mine on pavement too but the versatility is nice.
