Are they good for long distances? The bike path I do is 20+ all flat surface with no hills. Looking for some input on whoever owns the bike that goes long distance, thanks!

It is a pretty cheap bike probably made of gas pipe steel and really low end parts. However you could ride it as long as you wanted if you are able to ride that long and can maintain the bike well or bring it by your local shop regularly. I would probably save of money and get something more suited to longer distance riding and maybe that has more tire clearance.

The shop where I used to work sells Retrospec, and I have yet to see one that wasn't hot garbage. Its only redeeming quality is the rock-bottom price, but every component on the bike is crap. Even a State Bicycle Co Pigeon would be an improvement.
