Bikes: Early 1980's Rossin 49x17, Aero Head Wheels (White) & Formula Hubs, Cinelli Stem & Drops, Ofmega Cranks (Mistral) & Headset

Who wants to meet up and ride there together tonight?

Some friends and I plan on meeting at Boulevard Bikes tonight at 6:30 to head up there.

I'll be the guy on the white Rossin.

I'm not sure actually. I've never even been out to Northbrook before. I do know that it's about 17 miles from Boulevard though so...

Madisons end at 10pm tonight, but you don't have to stick around for the entire event of course.

Another option; you can catch the metra back. I have not yet tried it yet.

I was thinking about this -- the Metra home that is. The idea of riding up there is cool with me but the prospect of riding 20 miles or so home at night on a weeknight has me tired.

I'm already tired thinking about it but I guess I could use the exercise.

If I wasn't travelling this weekend, I'd totally be riding with you folks. Got too many loose ends to tie up. Take photos if you can! Skitbra and maybe [165] might be there so say hello. rusholme will know 'em.

i dont think romoni was there. i dont think skitbra was there. mr[165] was there, being mr superstar with the camera and stuff.

jose cuervo was nice, and so was his friend. i was slow as usual, and wussed out via the blue line. i enjoyed it, and hope they did too.

yeah, we definitely need to do something dcc.

oh! and dont forget! sundays, 2pm millenium park, fixed riders.

sunday are velodays. As everyday should be. More people should know about these places. They are good.
I hope to catch-up with more poeple out there. We are very lucky to have something so close. PLUS...there is always the potential for a Kenosha visit. Next weekend perhaps? Hmmm...

romoni, you were looking right at me for a while when we came in - i came in with the two guys, and i was the short girl in the purple shirt, black hair. we sat right up front, and you had moved to the back.

No, I got mine from some guy off ebay. It sat in his basement for 20 years. Straight from the factory, never ridden until I got my grimey hands on it. 165 snapped a few photos of it. I'll post some once I get a chance.

Romoni - Kevin at Boulevard told us that we missed you guys by 5 minutes. I met your friend Josh. He was a really nice guy. Maybe next time we can all meet up and ride up there.

Hit Milwaukee to Waukegan and you there.
It gets a little shady at times with no shoulder but just take over the lane
